‘Give A Little’ is a charity with a difference.

In 1989, Caroline Watson-O’Duffy qualified as a social worker and worked at a senior level for charities and NGOs until July 2009. However, over the years she became increasingly disillusioned with the way that charities are managed – and was especially concerned about what actually happens to the money raised for the cause in question. Unfortunately, most charities have become mini corporations where the many tiers of management mean that most of the money raised ends up going towards the costs of overheads - which means, unfortunately, that only a very small proportion of it ends up reaching the people it was designed to help. read more...
